Fox newscaster Chris Wallace announced that he is leaving the network after 18 years of working on the weekly program ‘Fox News Sunday’. “After 18 years — this is my final Fox News Sunday. It is the last time — and I say this with real sadness — we will meet like this,” Wallace said. Wallace will host a show CNN+, which will start in early 2022. “After decades in broadcast and cable news, I am excited to explore the world of streaming. I look forward to the new freedom and flexibility streaming affords in interviewing major figures across the news landscape — and finding new ways to tell stories,” he said. On the other hand, members of the Fox News staff are saddened by Wallace leaving. “Sad to see Chris go — he’s had an amazing run at ‘Fox News Sunday,'” chief newscaster Bret Baier said on Twitter. With Wallace’s exit, Fox is set to switch hosts until a permanent one is chosen.
