Disneyland Paris, the most popular theme park in Europe, is undergoing a €2 billion expansion, expected to finish by 2026. The plan aims to improve its attractions and secure its position as a top global destination. The highlights include a new show, “Disney Tales of Magic,” featuring drones, synchronized fountains, advanced projections, and lasers showcased during the Paris 2024 Olympics. Music from a 100-piece orchestra and the original anthem, “Live in Magic,” enhance the experience. The expansion also involves doubling the size of Walt Disney Studios Park, which will be renamed Disney Adventure World, with new themed areas based on “Frozen” and “The Lion King.”

This project uses advanced technology, including lasers capable of projecting up to 37 kilometers. The redesigned Disney Adventure World entrance will recreate a Hollywood film premiere experience. The luxury Disneyland Hotel now offers royal-themed suites to attract high-end visitors. Experts see this as part of Disney’s €60 billion global investment, designed to set new standards in theme parks. Analysts have called the expansion a strategic step to boost France’s tourism industry and solidify Disneyland Paris’s cultural and economic significance.
