Most products today such as food and cosmetics are packed in plastic so people tend to throw the packaging away upon consuming the product. Eventually, plastic packages will pollute the environment. To prevent this from happening, the global brand Unilever unveils their plan to recycle plastic packaging.
Unilever plans to recycle plastics using a system called CreaSolv Process. CreaSolv Process will recover plastics then use the same plastics again to create new packaging. Using this system, Unilever aims to make plastic packaging fully reusable and recyclable by 2025. To achieve this goal, Unilever reveals that they will open a pilot plant in Indonesia to test the long-term effectivity of the recycling system.
