Students of Marjory Stoneman Douglas in Parkland returned from spring break with a new security measure. The school administrator requires students to use a see-through backpack. This aims to strengthen security inside the school premises. They were also given an identification badge which they must wear all the time.

Some students find the policy disappointing and ineffective. According to them, metal detectors are better in preventing firearms from entering the school. In fact, some of them don’t feel safer with the new policy. They also believe that their right to privacy is being sacrificed.
