A study shows that eight out of ten millennials will not buy a product online without first checking its online reviews. Millennials buy more products online than the preceding generation, but they also do more research before finally deciding to make the purchase. The research was conducted on 2,000 millennials in the UK by BOXT, a British company selling boilers online.

According to the research, almost half of the respondents prefer buying online because it is easier to compare the products online than having to go to physical stores. Nearly half of them opt to read online reviews while only 8 percent ask for recommendations from friends and family members. Free delivery also proved to be a factor why people decide to shop online.
