A Japanese railway company will bring Hello Kitty to Western Japan. West Japan Railway Co. or JR West will feature 2 Hello Kitty-themed bullet trains on June 30.

This is to bring communities together. It also aims to make Tottori Prefecture and Shimane Prefecture more popular.

The first car called “Hello! Plaza” will promote local attractions and sell special goods. The second car called “Kawaii Room” lets the passengers to take photos with a Hello Kitty stuffed toy at the photo booth.

The trains will run from Shin-Osaka station to Hakata station everyday. Passengers who bought a regular train ticket in advance or on the day of travel can ride this train.

The Hello Kitty trains will be available for a limited time only.
