1 in 50 airplane passengers falls in love while on board proves that love is really in the air. A study from HSBC (Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation) said that there is a 2% chance for passengers to find love while traveling by air. Thousands of people from different countries were interviewed and asked what they think are the chances of meeting the love of their life while on an airplane. They also asked around 6,000 people in some parts of US, UK, Hongkong, and UAE about their flying habits.

A report says that most people don’t really travel to actively look for a love match. Budget-friendly airlines are increasing and more people prefer to travel by air. Moreover, HSBC’s study showed that more than 50% of airplane passengers willingly converse with a stranger during a trip. The use of in-flight Wi-Fi also adds a chance for passengers to connect and interact with each other.
