According to a report, Ebola virus could reach Uganda after two Ebola cases were recorded in the Ituri province. The first victim was a woman from Beni who refused to get a vaccination after attending burials of Ebola victims. She died on September 20, 2018 in a hospital in Tshomia. The latter was the woman’s partner, according to the World Health Organization (WHO). Uganda is preparing vaccinations as needed after five Ebola outbreaks since 2005.

Ebola virus disperses through bodily fluids. The symptoms include uncontrolled bleeding, vomiting blood, muscle pain, headaches, and decreased urine output. The disease was hazardous and lethal which caused a catastrophe in West Africa from 2013 to 2016. Moreover, 11, 000 people died in nearly 30,000 confirmed cases of Ebola virus. WHO said that even though there is a progress, the situation is still precarious.
