In 2018, the Japanese government made an inquiry to 5,000 young people about the reason why they use the internet. They were also asked on how much time they give to use the internet for a day. The study found that a young Japanese spend about three hours a day using the internet, which is nine minutes longer than the previous year. The result said that 79% of the people watch videos, 76% play games, and 66% use the internet to look for different websites. The ministry said that young people use longer hours online every year. They plan to study the result with the help of the experts so they can suggest how to use the internet wisely.
