Experts from the University of Exeter Medical School in England proved that a healthy lifestyle can prevent people from having brain diseases. They studied almost 200,000 participants. The result found out that those who have high genetic risk and poor lifestyle grow symptoms of dementia unlike those participants who have a small genetic risk but have a healthy life. Dementia is a genetic brain disease affecting an individual’s memory. One example of dementia is Alzheimer’s disease in which old ages suffer from loss of memory. However, John Hagaa from US National Institute on Aging said that people can avoid getting such disease by having a healthy lifestyle. Genetic threat might be reduced through healthy activities such as proper diet and exercise.
