NASA’s Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) is designed to hunt for exoplanets using a transit method. NASA stated about the discovery of an exoplanet named TOI 700 d revolving around TOI 700 star that is in the portion of Dorado constellation. To probe the planet’s surface capabilities and habitability, astronomers used NASA’s Spitzer Space Telescope infrared as they also discovered that TOI 700 d is as large as Earth. Moreover, TESS detected another planet that is 1,300 light-years away from the Pictor constellation. This planet known as TOI 1338 b, which is revolving around two suns, is said to be a resemblance of Star Wars’ Tatooine, the planet home of Luke Skywalker. TOI 1338 b was discovered by Wolf Cukier, an intern at NASA. He said, “About three days into my internship, I saw a signal from a system called TOI 1338. At first, I thought it was a stellar eclipse, but the timing was wrong. It turned out to be a planet.”
