Pittsburgh International Airport is using robot machines to help clean and sweep areas using improved ultraviolet technology. The robot machines can work manually or even automatically for longer periods. The devices’ battery lifespan lasts for about six hours, and their water source must be replaced every 150 minutes. Ultraviolet light (UV-C) has been used for several years, but this is the first time the airlines are cleaned for disinfection by UV-C. Basically, to improve protection for people from getting possibly infected by the coronavirus, Carnegie Robotics will interact with their local members to assure that the robots are used to beat micro-organisms across all the highways.
