Keanu Reeves, a famous actor, musician, film producer, and a comic book writer? That’s right, Reeves has partnered with New York Times graphic novelist Matt Kindt to create BRZRKR. Read as Berzerker, the first issue will be released on October 7 this year by Boom! Studios.

BRZRKR is about a warrior (who looks like Reeves himself) who has been living for centuries. He currently works for the US government in exchange for answers about his existence. The 12-issue series will be illustrated by Alessandro Vitti. According to Reeves and Kindt, BRZRKR has action and violence, so it may not be suitable for everyone.

Reeves, 55, says that he grew interested in comic books when he was about 10 years old. Even though he showed no interest in writing and drawing his own not until this year, he says he wanted to play as Wolverine as a kid. What about BRZRKR? Reeves said, “I’d love to play Berzerker!”
