Do you believe that the Earth is the only habitable planet in the universe? Based on a new study, Our planet may not be the fittest place for living compared with the other superhabitable planets.
A professor and lead study author for astrobiology and planetary habitability at Washington State University, Dirk Schulze-Makuch, said in a study written in the journal Astrobiology, that we focus on planets that are like Earth, as a result we ignore to look for a planet that is indeed more competent for supporting life. In the most advanced research, Schulze-Makuch, together with his companions, identified 24 exoplanets and possible exoplanets (planets that will be proven to be exoplanets).

These planets could be likely superhabitable planets with characteristics that are more appropriate for survival than Earth. And also, these planets are more than a hundred light-years away from the Earth.

But the authors said that they haven’t confirmed that these planets are livable. Somewhat, they just mean that these planets could have components that can support life.
