Bars and restaurants in the Republic of Ireland continue their indoor service today, July 26. They are available to those who are vaccinated and have recovered from COVID-19. Customers do not have time limits, and the businesses close at 23:30 Irish local time. People under the age of 18 can enter the establishments but must be accompanied by vaccinated adults. Additionally, the Irish government is developing an app that will allow business owners to check their customers’ European Union (EU) Digital COVID Certifications. The original deadline for reopening bars and restaurants in Ireland was on July 5 but was delayed at the end of June. However, the Department of Health in Northern Ireland is confident that an international travel app for those who have been vaccinated will be available this week.
