Have you ever wondered which artists, songs, genres, or podcasts you listened to most this year on the music streaming platform Spotify? Well, look no further because Spotify Wrapped has come again to rescue–giving us an overview of what our listening habits have been leading up to.

One of the awesome features of Spotify is the Wrapped, which is launched every December to show users an overview of their Spotify listening for the past year. This lets users see how much time they spent listening using the platform, which songs they played the most, the artists they stuck with, and others. Most users also like to share their Spotify Wrapped on social media to compare stats with their friends. Spotify Wrapped 2021 is now rolling out as of December 1st to both Free and Premium users. It should automatically appear on the Spotify app’s Home page. Among the globally most streamed artists this year are Bad Bunny, Taylor Swift, BTS, Drake, and Justin Bieber. Rising pop star Olivia Rodrigo’s debut album “SOUR” was also hailed as the most streamed album of the year, with “drivers license” as the most streamed song.

Since Spotify’s launch in 2006, the streaming giant has been dominating in the music streaming industry, with more than 381 million monthly users and access to over 70 million songs. Its variety of personalization features also serves a competitive advantage over the likes of Apple Music and YouTube Music.
