It’s the most wonderful time of the year again—and spending it with feel-good Christmas movies would be a delightful idea. We all know that holiday classics like A Christmas Story” and “It’s a Wonderful Life” are two of the must-sees during this special time. But we don’t need to stick with them forever because Netflix has come prepared to give us an awe-inspiring Christmas movie marathon.
• Love Actually (2003)
A Christmas-themed romantic comedy film is also a great idea. “Love Actually”, written and directed by Richard Curtis, follows the narratives of nine individuals in a holiday setting, including a married man (Alan Rickman), a guy in unrequited love (Andrew Lincoln), a hopeless romantic writer (Colin Firth), a prime minister (Hugh Grant), and more.
• Holiday Rush (2019)
Losing your job and having to cut back during the holiday season is one of the worst things. “Holiday Rush” follows the story of a family headed by a once-successful radio DJ (and recent widower). This heartfelt family-oriented film showcases the true meaning of the holiday season.
• Klaus (2019)
An English-language Spanish animated Christmas film written and directed by Sergio Pablos, “Klaus” follows the story of a Smeerensburg’s spoiled postman (Jesper) befriending a toymaker with a fluffy white beard (Klaus).
