To offer faster internet while at sea, the biggest cruise line in the world, Royal Caribbean, has announced a cooperation with Elon Musk’s rocket firm, SpaceX. According to Jason Liberty, CEO of Royal Caribbean, the partnership will make more high-bandwidth activities, such as video streaming, possible. An extremely large network of earth-orbiting satellites is used by Starlink. According to Mr. Liberty, the installation of Starlink on Royal Caribbean ships will start right away and be completed by March 2023. The partnership is the largest public high-speed Internet rollout for the travel industry by Starlink to date. People in rural areas can access high-speed Internet using Starlink, a service provided by SpaceX. It is heavily dependent on its low-Earth-orbiting satellites. Links between the satellites and the Earth are created as quickly as possible by doing this. The pandemic has had a serious negative effect on the cruise industry. However, the COVID-19 limits were relaxed this year, which increased revenues for businesses like Royal Caribbean, which runs the second-largest cruise ship fleet globally.
