The Odyssey cruise ship, from Villa Vie Residences, will finally start its long-awaited world trip on Monday, October 7, leaving from Belfast. This journey was initially supposed to start in May but was delayed for several months due to unexpected repairs to the ship’s rudders and gearbox. The Odyssey, known as the world’s first continual cruise, allows passengers to either buy a cabin for the ship’s entire life or rent one for certain parts of the trip. After passing sea trials, the ship received approval from the UK’s Maritime and Coastguard Agency and Public Health authorities. The cruise will last 1,301 days, visiting all seven continents and stopping at 425 ports, including big cities like Rio de Janeiro and Singapore. With a capacity of 650 passengers, the ship offers amenities such as restaurants, a pool, a spa, a business center, and medical services. Some passengers plan to live on the ship, and others have even found love aboard, like Gian Perroni and Angela Harsanyi, who got engaged during the delay. The Odyssey offers a unique and exciting experience for its passengers.
