Disneyland Paris, Europe’s most-visited theme park, is undergoing a €2 billion ($2.05 billion) expansion to enhance its offerings and cement its position as a leading global destination. This ambitious project includes “Disney Tales of Magic,” a 20-minute nighttime spectacle featuring drones, synchronized fountains, high-definition projections, and lasers previously displayed at the Paris 2024 Olympics. The show highlights Disney and Pixar stories, accompanied by music from a 100-piece orchestra and an original anthem titled “Live in Magic.” By 2026, Walt Disney Studios Park will double in size and be renamed Disney Adventure World, offering new themed areas such as The World of Frozen and The Lion King. Analysts have observed that this expansion aligns with broader strategies to enhance visitor experiences and increase attendance.

The project incorporates advanced technology and innovative storytelling, setting new benchmarks for theme park experiences. Laser systems, designed for safety, can project up to 37 kilometers, creating visually striking effects. Disney Adventure World will include an entrance inspired by a Hollywood film premiere, leading visitors into immersive environments. The luxury Disneyland Hotel has also been renovated, adding royal-themed suites to attract premium guests. Experts view the expansion, part of Disney’s $60 billion global investment, as a strategic move to strengthen Disneyland Paris’s role as an indispensable asset to France’s tourism sector, blending innovation with emotional and cultural resonance.
