The renowned K-pop group Stray Kids headlined the British Summer Time (BST) Hyde Park Festival on Sunday, marking a significant milestone in their career. The South Korean ensemble, consisting of eight members—Changbin, Felix, Hyunjin, Lee Know, Han, Seungmin, Bang Chan, and I.N.—debuted in 2018 under JYP Entertainment after being formed on a reality show. Known for their eclectic sound and hit tracks like “God’s Menu,” “S-Class,” and “Maniac,” the group made their UK festival debut in London nearly five years after their last performance there. Han expressed excitement about the festival’s large scale and how their energetic performance could transform the atmosphere. The group performed for an enthusiastic crowd in a one-hour-and-forty-minute set.

Stray Kids have garnered international acclaim, being named one of the Next Generation Leaders by Time magazine and ranking third on the IFPI’s list of global recording artists last year. Their album “5-Star” was the second best-selling album globally in the same year. The group also made a notable appearance at the MET Gala in May, donning custom Tommy Hilfiger suits. Bang Chan emphasized the importance of creating meaningful music for their fans, known as STAYs, acknowledging the group’s commitment to their craft. The group released their new EP, ‘ATE,’ on July 19, marking their comeback and showcasing new concepts and styles. Felix highlighted that the EP reflects the group’s dedication and authenticity in their music, aiming to cater to diverse musical tastes.
