Japanese media has reported that a leading American Film company, Warner Brothers, proposed to open a Harry Potter theme park in Tokyo by the spring of 2023. The land where the theme park will be established belongs to the Seibu group and will convey the land to Warner Bros. Along with this, the theme park will be developed by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, who will also convey the part of the land from the Seibu group. The underway agreements between the said parties are assumed to settle with a decision this coming spring.

Warner Bros’ British-American film series, Harry Potter, written by J.K.Rowling, turns into a global hit that led to the opening of its facilities in Universal Studios Japan in 2014. The USJ Wizarding World of Harry Potter has varieties of rides and attractions like the Flight of the Hippogriff and the Hogwarts castle walk. While the Harry Potter theme park is to be constructed in Tokyo, as discussed, it might have the Warner Bros Studios Tour London set up where guests can roam around at Harry Potter studio sets. According to some reports, Warner Bros doesn’t have any specific details yet on how different it is from other Harry Potter theme parks, however, the theme park will be launched by spring 2023 once the proposed project gets approved.
