Expo 2020 Dubai organizers have begun preparations for the event on October 1 this year to push through next year. Updates and photographs of the constructions are posted on Expo’s official website, such as the buildings and walkways for the visitors from over 190 countries. The theme for Expo 2020 is “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future,” which encourages people to use modern ways to solve real world problems. The event was originally scheduled to be open on October 20 this year, but has been delayed to October 1, 2021 due to COVID-19. It will run a 6-month period, officially ending on March 31, 2022. Expo 2020 Dubai and UAE Minister of State for International Cooperation Director General Reem Al Hashimy said, “We hope that people will join us to achieve our objectives to bring the world together and put humanity and the planet on the right path towards dignity for all.”
