Researchers found out that artificial sweeteners have the same bad effects on health as sugar according to a research published by the Journal of American College of Cardiology. Scientists collected data from 104,670 French men and women who joined the NutriNet Sante. It is an ongoing online study that looks at the relationship between people’s diet behavior, nutrition, and health. The participants were grouped according to how much sugar they eat and drink. They recorded what they eat and drink daily and checked their health status every 6 months. The data showed that people who drank artificial sweetened drinks often have an almost equal chance of getting a heart disease, with people who often drank sugary drinks.
