Apple held a virtual event on October 10, Monday to reveal its second set of new products. Two MacBook Pro laptops featuring Apple’s next-generation M1 Pro and M1 Max chips were displayed, with new processors expected to be 70% quicker than the older model they replaced. The new laptops also come with a front-facing camera that can take 1080p videos. They are available in 16-inch (starts at $2,499) and 14-inch displays (starts at $1,999). Apple replaced the new laptops’ digital Touch Bar with a fingerprint sensor in the power button. The second item is the sweat and water-resistant AirPods 3 that have powerful bass and crisp high frequency. The new model boasts a 6-hour battery life thanks to its increased performance. It also includes MagSafe and wireless charging. The AirPods 3 are now available for pre-order for $179.
