Just in time for the holidays, Spider-Man has returned for a new adventure. The last and most awaited part of the series is rumored to introduce the multiverse to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Spider-Man: No Way Home will hit theaters on December 17, 2021, with a UK release of December 15. Sony released the movie’s official trailer last November 16, which reveals Tom Holland still as Peter Parker, fighting past Spider-Man villains: Doctor Octopus (Alfred Molina), Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe), Electro (Jamie Foxx), Sandman, and Lizard when one of Doctor Strange’s (Benedict Cumberbatch) spells went wrong, which accidentally opened the multiverse. On the other hand, fans are still eager to know if former Spider-Men, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, will make appearances in the film.

The series started in 2017 with “Spider-Man Homecoming.” But Holland confirmed that “No Way Home” marks the end of his contract with Marvel Studios. “[Spiderman 3] would be my last one [under contract], so I’ve always said to them if they want me back, I’ll be there in a heartbeat,” Holland said. “I’ve loved every minute of being a part of this amazing world. It’s changed my life for the better. I’m so lucky to be here. If they want me back, I’ll be there, if they don’t, I will walk off into the sunset a very, very happy person because it’s been an amazing journey.”
