Dubai recently opened the first and highest 360-degree infinity pool in the world. It was built by Sunset Hospitality Group (SHG), a hospitality investment and management company. The pool is located at the 52-story hotel and residential Palm Tower, which is owned by the real estate company Nakheel that is based in Dubai.

The 200-meter Aura Skypool holds a 750-square-meter pool deck on the 50th floor of the Palm Tower. It also has a VIP area filled with sun beds and a bar with a variety of cocktails and tapas dishes. Guests may also book either a morning or sunset session to the amenity. The entrance fee starts at 170 AED (around ¥5,212) for morning visits, which increases to 600 AED (around ¥18,468) for a VIP access to the entire Aura for one whole day. “Aura is truly unlike any other destination in the UAE and the world,” Antonio Gonzalez, CEO of SHG, said in a statement last October. The Aura Skypool was opened months after the 240-meter-high observation deck called The View, which is located on the 52nd floor of the tower. The building also features the first SushiSamba restaurant in the Middle East.
