Music artists Paul McCartney, Harry Styles, and BTS are set to donate rare, signed, and unique collectibles for charity. In the latest partnership of Julien’s Auctions and MusiCares, the fundraising event will run online this coming January 30. MusiCares, a fundraising organization created in 1989, gathers musicians to “focus the resources and attention of the music industry on human service issues.” Some of the items available at the charity event are K-pop group BTS’ suits worth almost $50,000, which they wore at the 2021 Grammy Awards. An electric guitar signed by BTS members RM, j-hope, Jimin, V, Jung Kook, Jin, and SUGA, as well as three rings from j-hope’s personal collection will also be dedicated. On the other hand, McCartney and Styles will both join with their own signed instruments, a violin bass guitar, and an acoustic-electric guitar, respectively. Proceeds from the event will help the support system for “physical and mental health, addiction recovery, unforeseen personal emergencies, and disaster assistance.”
