Last January 20, President Donald Trump was sworn in as the 45th president of the United States of America. The newly elected president and his first lady, Melania Trump, had tea at the White House with the Obamas earlier that day. Present in President Trump’s inauguration were other former US Presidents- Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Jimmy Carter, and their first ladies. Mrs Clinton graced the inauguration with a brave face. Although many remarked that Mrs Clinton seemed like she didn’t want to be in the ceremony, she courteously congratulated President Trump as she shook his hand.

In his inaugural speech, President Trump stressed that his rule will be more meaningful as he swore to give the power back to the American People. Trump vowed to stop the American carnage with America First policy. According to President Trump, all decisions concerning trade, taxes, immigration, and foreign affairs will be made to benefit American workers and families first and foremost. President Trump promised to make America great again.
