People also searched a lot about extreme heat and the Olympic Games. For entertainment, the most searched movies and TV shows were Disney and Pixar’s “Inside Out 2” and Netflix’s “Baby Reindeer.” The report also shared which famous people who passed away were searched the most, including Liam Payne, Toby Keith, and O.J. Simpson. There were also interesting trends. Global recipe searches were influenced by an Olympic swimmer’s famous chocolate muffin. In the U.S., people searched for the word “demure” and the “mob wife aesthetic.” Kendrick Lamar’s song “Not Like Us” led music searches, and “The New York Times” puzzle “Connections” was the most searched game. Google gathered this data from January 1 to November 23, 2024.
